A blower door is a tool that tests if the new construction is airtight or if there are openings for air pressure leakage.  The test results will be effective in determining if the dwelling is in compliance with Florida Building Code R402.4.1.2, 5th Edition (2014) Energy 1290 Conservation taking effect July 1, 2017.

Thermal imaging measures surface temperatures by using infrared video technology with a Blower Door test running.  In the event the newly constructed home does not meet the Code we will use FLIR Imaging Technology to isolate the problem areas so that compliance can be achieved.
